During your first week as a participant of the Community Corrections Work Release Program, you will receive an orientation, be assigned a case manager, and a personalized needs assessment, which results in a case management plan tailored to your needs. Staff members will discuss with you the goals of the program, rules or directives governing conduct, program regulations, and other information necessary to acclimate you to the program.

As a participant, you must agree to abide by the agency rules, regulations, and directives as a condition of acceptance into the program. You will receive a copy of the program’s handbook and will be required to sign the “Acknowledgment and Receipt of the Program’s Rules and Directives” document. Assistance will be given to those that cannot read or have difficulty understanding the information, rules and regulations, handbook, etc. The program rules are subject to revision and may be given either verbally or written. As rules are revised, they will be posted on the participant’s bulletin board in the dormitory.  It is your responsibility to keep informed of any revisions.

As a participant, you are expected to take full advantage of the opportunities offered by the various community resources and staff members. These resources include, but are not limited to the following:  alcohol/drug treatment programs, educational counseling, vocational counseling, medical education, financial assistance, employment assistance, and other programs appropriate to your needs.
