Major Noah Robinson

Major Noah Robinson is a Newburgh, Indiana native who graduated from Castle High School. Major Robinson attended the University of Southern Indiana where he received his Associate's Degree in Social Science and his Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology. Major Robinson joined the Owensboro Police Department in 1999 and served the City of Owensboro until he was appointed as a deputy with the Vanderburgh County Sheriff’s Office in March of 2001. Major Robinson became a field training deputy in 2003 and spent eight years assigned to Motor Patrol. In 2009 Major Robinson was promoted to the rank of sergeant and spent the next five years assigned to the Professional Standards Unit. Major Robinson was promoted to the rank of lieutenant in June of 2014, assigned to headquarters, and placed in charge of information technology, public information and grants. In October of 2018 Major Robinson was promoted to the rank of major and now serves as the executive commander over the Administration Division. Major Robinson also serves as the Program Coordinator for the Evansville-Vanderburgh County Traffic Safety Partnership. Major Robinson is a certified ILEA instructor and is our primary instructor for impaired driving enforcement. His favorite quote is, “If you tell the truth, you don't have to remember anything."
